My vet visit
I had to go to My Vet last Friday for my annual check and vaccinations. I also had blood tests, because I am an OLDER CAT and Lynettea worries about me. My Vet said that I was so good, he couldn't get over how good I was. When we got back into the reception area the Vet Nurse especially said to Lynettea how good I was. The Nurse could scarcely believe how good I was.
Lynettea thinks I am a hero, but I felt rather frightened. She gave me a cuddle when I went back into my travel cage in case I was nervous. It was nice to go home and even the taxi didn't seem so bad, so I didn't bother to MIAOUWWW all the way, as I usually do. It might have been disappointing for the taxi driver that I didn't MIAOUWWW. I think they get a bit of a thrill driving me usually, as they can enjoy a concert on the way.
My Vet rang a little while ago to tell Lynettea that she has to buy me some special food. Not to worry, he said, but it would help me stay fit and make some of my readings better.
This nice picture of a waterlily in my pond makes me feel cool.

We hope that you like the special food - I (Gypsy) have to eat special food to help my kidneys out (I've got CRF), but I do like the stuff in pouches.
Dude, remember to eat plenty, and drink water, especially with this week's heatwave,
