Not allowed to play?

not allowed to play with rats, snatched away from lizards, no butterflies to bat. does she think i can be amused by neon coloured flannel mice and feathers on a stick? NOT ALLOWED to touch the fish in MY POND, best if you don't jump over the fence Diamond, trees and vines are not meant as playgrounds DIAMOND. If you eat that grass you will probably throw up Diamond. DO NOT PRETEND TO BE A JAGUAR, DIAMOND OR YOU WILL KNOCK ME OVER.
It's not much fun around here. Well I do get plenty of DIET food and water and my fur brushed a couple times a day, and she carries me round when I want (often) and heats up my snugglesafe warming pad and puts it on my futon for me to sleep. And sometimes we go outside with me controlling her on the lead - which is a lot of work for me, I must say. Sometimes I feel like running off on my own, ignoring my responsibility, even if I am generally a 'caring cat'.

And I don't get to post on my blog much. Do you think this necklace is too feminine for me?

Hello Diamond and nice to meet you!
We are absolutely delighted to meet another Aussie kitty, who lives in Adelaide! So do we!!!
You are very handsome. We're indoor kitties and our life sounds pretty much like how you described, we don't ever see any real mousies or birdies!

Hey Diamond, we thinks you might wants to rethink that running-off thing. Is very dangerous out there. I'm just saying, I was there, it's not fun!
We thinks you look very nice in your collar.

Diamond we love the necklace. Sorry that you have rules of play, but it's only because your mommy wants you to not be hurt. Our mommy is like that too. Don't do this, don't do that. Etc.
Whoa, your human is more than a little overprotective! Cats were not meant to live in a bubble (I say, safely ensconced in my indoor-only life).

The collar? Mmm, it IS a touch feminine, but it is also blue, so I say it works.

Wow, you're right, Diamond ... I'm not sure Lynettea really understands the full scope of your responsibilities. It's clear that a cat with so much responsibility NEEDS to blow off some steam once in awhile by doing things like playing with rats, catching lizards and climbing trees.

On the flip side, though, it sounds like she's good about giving you love and attention, and food (!), so you maybe should stick around...

The necklace looks good! :)

I am not going to run away, in case anyone thought so. No I need to look after Lynettea. Goodness knows how she would manage without me. I am just training her to sleep on the other side of the bed and it is quite a struggle. You wouldn't believe how set a human can become in her ways.

Hi Diamond!
Neon mouses is a no go! Perhaps a mouse made of felt or with rabbit-fur. And sometimes sisal ist an interesting material for playing with!
A collar for a mancat? We like to life without a necklace - only outside the adventure Maus needs one - says Silke ...
