climbing and other speculations

Since I have grown older I have begun to speculate about all sorts of things. Such as: what is the taste of peanut butter? what is the taste of curry? (I found that out and it is too hot and spicy for me).
I had never run into the street without my jewelled halter, but a few days ago when it was sunny I squeezed under the front gate and sprang lightly up into the street tree. Unfortunately when I got to the first branch I saw people coming down the street, so was forced to jump off quickly. Lynettea tried to grab me, but I was too quick for her.
She said, 'that's pretty good for your age Diamond. I hope you haven't hurt your pawsies jumping down,' and a few other insulting remarks. She knows that I don't really like 'baby talk' and as for references to my age (fourteen years and ten months), how rude.

You should show her that we kitties are very creative about showing our displeasure over any disrespect, no matter our age!
Mummy eats crunchy peanut butter by the jar. She gets half a spoon of chocolate spread then dips the spoon into the peanut butter and covers the other half of the spoon. She says its very yummy. We think you are still pretty young and most certainly don't look your age :)xx

First of all, Love your new header Diamond !!!
You know ? I'm almost 4, so now I took note !
I will make sure, I still can run fast like you when I'm getting to that age : )
But I'm not sure at that age my mom can do chasing with me, But I'm pretty sure she still can yell : )

Diamond, we think you must be in excellent condition...for any age! But do stay safe, please!
Oh yes, those humans are soooo insensitive. I am a granny cat but I can be very agile if I want to.

Pawsies indeed!

Sounds like you have become increasingly curious about things, Diamond. This is no surprise to us, as we have always found you to be a wise and thoughtful cat. Do be careful out by the street, okay? Those cars and such are quite dangerous!

Purrs to you and Lynettea.

We find it hard to believe you are fourteen, Diamond. That was a bit rude of Lynettea to tease you so.

It's always nice to try new things, isn't it? Especially to keep our beans on their toes :-).

That is pretty good, dearest Diamond. You know, you really aren't that old at all. You've got many good years ahead of you. You still have your great good looks, shiny coat and your catrisma! And no matter how old we kitties get, we will always have pawsies. Beans just go mad over our feet. And we DO hope that you didn't hurt your pawsies! Love to you, dear.

THANK YOU wonderful friends for your kind concern. Lynettea was very worried about my running into the street, so today I used my halter. It helps me control her better also.
