MAURICE?
Lynettea was away most of the day. She told me she was visiting a small poodle called Maurice or Morrie for short. He must be VERY attractive. Maurice's human said she might bring him here to visit me. I DON'T THINK!!! I will have to keep looking out the window all the time. It is an awful thing if one can't feel safe in one's own home.
Lynettea was reading in the newspaper about some government, which has declared that humans that keep pets should be called Guardians rather than Owners. She thought that was a good idea, but she thought that she felt more like a Mummy than a Guardian. I am not sure about that.

We do rather like that bit about humans with pets not being called "owners." We'd much rather be called dad or mum, too.
