I will be fifteen years old tomorrow. We aren't having a special party, as Lynettea says she doesn't know what to give me. I am not eating all that much, so I don't have any special treat foods that she could give me.
I am sure she will give me a big hug. And take me outside for a sit if there is any sunshine. Today was nice and I lolled on the path for a while when Lynettea was doing outside type things such as bringing in the washing and watering the plants in the pots. Then she sat in the garden chair and rested while I did some more lolling about. Then she picked me up and carried me down the street a bit to see Orla looking at us through the gate next door.
I haven't been able to wear my halter for a little while because Lynettea doesn't want to scrape at the wound or get it rubbed. It is nearly better, she says, although she can still see a bit of dried blood.
So she decided she would carry me around outside on the footpath instead of me walking. I don't mind going to see Orla. Orla is always excited to see us and whirls around and around and wags her tail. We don't stay very long.
If anyone wants to drop by tomorrow they would be most welcome.
Happy Birthday to any other cat who is also celebrating their special day.
