My Important Letter

Today Lynettea wrote my Important Letter to the RSPCA.  She put in it all about me (as she sees it, so not all that accurate) because she is requesting them to look after me as a Bequest Animal if anything should happen to her. She has left money in her will and spoken to the Bequest Animal lady who explained the program to her. Bequest Pets are looked after by special people who are on a waiting list to look after these special pets. The RSPCA still looks out for the pets and is their 'owner', so they pay for Vet bills etc and look after the pet for the rest of their life.
I am now waiting to receive my special Bequest Pet tags, or tag.

I don't think I really want to be a Bequest Pet, as I would prefer to stay here. So I will have to try to make sure Lynettea stays healthy and can look after me. I will have to start supervising her more closely as to her diet and exercise program. Also she needs to remain mentally stimulated. I am already working on some of these issues. One of her visitors today commented that I was very vocal. It is awkward, as I have to issue instructions constantly. The question remains: will she ever be fully trained?
The picture shows me resting after a training session. As you can see it was a tiring session.

Lynettea was very wise to do that. The mom wishes Canada would have the same sort of program, though she's 99.99% sure the SPCA here doesn't.

It's true that we never know how the Fates grant us on this earth, Diamond, but we think you won't have to worry about this.

Hoomans are hard to train sometimes. See if u can get them to learn the 'give me a cookie' game. That one is good. :)

This is a very good thing to do - just n case, Wishing you both a very Happy Holiday form our house to yours!

My human should do something like that. Right now, if anything happened to her, it would be totally chaotic!

Diamond, we hope you never have to be a bequest animal, but we think it is a fabulous idea to make sure you are cared for just in case. Good that you are training Lynettea, and getting her healthy so that it does not come to this. Meows to you both!

Diamond, training our humans is never ending and stressful work indeed! Take very good care of your Lynettea so she'll always be there for you. That is a very good thing she is doing though, with the RSPCA - our mom is going to look into something like that for us. Happy Christmas to you!

Me thinks it is pawsome yous is to be accepted by the RSPCA. And that Lynette is thinking of yous. Juanita (my pop-pop's dog) was one of those here, and Pop-Pop was ever so glad when she came to lives with him and so was she.

Diamond, that must have been some training session for sure! That is really caring of Lynettea to make those arrangements, that sounds like such a special program, we've never heard of anything like that before. However, you do such a great job at keeping Lynettea all trained, we know that all will be well. We send purrs to you for your health and hope you are eating well. We wish you Happy Holidays as well and a Happy New Year.

Your mum has given you a great gift of love, dear Diamond. You should feel blessed that she loves you so.
So many pets fall into dire circumstances when something happens with their owners, but your mothers love for you will go on. Our mum wants to provide care for us but a place she really likes is terribly expensive US$ 25,000. 00.
There were some less expensive places but all they would do is just adopt us out to anyone who fit a general criteria, like any other rescue. And there are alot of us so mum is saving her $ and taking very good care of her health. Merry Christmas, darling boy. All of our love comming your way for a very lovely and perfect day.
