I am an official Bequest Pet

My card and disc came yesterday, so Lynettea says I am now an official Bequest Pet. She has to carry my card around with her in case anything happens to her. Then if it does (which I hope it won't) somebody would find the card and see that there was a special pet to be looked after and ring the RSPCA emergency number IMMEDIATELY, so someone could rush to my side.
There was also a nice letter thanking me for publicizing the Bequest Pet Program on my blog. RSPCA South Australia Bequest Pet Program

As I don't wear a collar, I couldn't have the disc attached to me. I am an inside cat, so I just have my microchip. I am not sure where the microchip is. We weren't sure what to do with the disc, so Lynettea put it around the neck of the model of the ancient Egyptian cat on the dresser. Lynettea got the model at the Egyptian exhibition when it came to the SA Museum. I couldn't go because cats were, as usual, excluded. Which is rather odd, as the Ancient Egyptians regarded cats as sacred.

I am not sure about the cat near me in my picture. It doesn't move around at all, so I don't bother with it too much. I think Lynettea should have moved it to give a better view of my noble form.

That's awesome that your human is looking out for you, Diamond! Mine still has done NOTHING to make sure that I am safe if something happens to her.

That's fantastic and we're sure it gives Lynettea a great deal of peace of mind. Wish the Canadian SPCA would offer a similar service!

I'm glad to hear you will always be looked after!!!
That is so amazing that you are being looked after like that. Lets hope it never has to be used though and you will be together forever and a day. That looks a lovely cat you are sitting next too. Maybe if you give it a gentle nose bump you can wake it up and it will tell you its name :)xx

Congratulations on getting picked. We know nothing will happen to Lynettea, but we are glad there will be someone to look after you if something does happen.

PS - We like your friend, even though she doesn't seem to be very active.

Such wonderful news, Diamond. We think it is great that the RSPCA has such a program, and we bet Lynettea feels much better knowing that you will be cared for always, no matter what.

Hugs to you both!

You are such a lovely kitty! We wish we lived closer to you. Our mum would love to have such a fine fellow join us if you were ever in need. We get chicken too although mum won't eat it. But we are very glad the you are now "official". It's comforting to know that you will always be in good hands. Lots of love comming your way.
