I Survived

I went to my Vet and I didn't like it, but I survived. Lynettea made a special appointment with my Personal Vet so I could have my Annual Check Up and Vaccinations. He nearly didn't give me vaccinations, but Lynettea was concerned, so he did. I don't like being FELT ALL OVER, which is not very private. My Vet said I had put on some weight, which was a good sign. Lynettea said I looked rather a magnificent cat and he agreed.

I have my doubts about Lynettea though. How can she expect me to trust her when she lures me down from my walkway (where I am resting in the sunshine) and then thrusts me into a small confining cage?  And I don't like going in taxi's. I think I need a coach of some sort. It doesn't have to be gold plated.

Me is glad you survived. Me needs to goes to the vet this year and me has been practicing my slashes and escape techniques. Me can tell by looking at yous that yous is a beautiful specimine of man catliness. Feeling yous all over is intrusive and should not be tolerated.

Why not gold plated? You deserve it - after all, your name IS Diamond!

Diamond, we know just how you feel! One minue we can be napping comfortably and the next we are stuffed in our carriers for a horrendous car ride just to be poked and prodded! we know it's important for our health but if only there could be an easier way! We are glad you had a good check up. We think you are a magnificent cat too :)

We are so pleased to hear about your good checkup, Diamond. We're not sure how to advise you about the Lynettea thing. Keep an eye on her, we suppose...

Sorry she trapped you. Going to the vet is no fun. I'm glad you survived and you are gaining weight. :-)
