My Friends blogs

Lynettea started looking at my friends' blogs. She thinks I didn't notice what she was doing, but I soon rushed into the room and miaowed loudly at her. When she went out I started to type in this post, but I am afraid I won't have access all that long. Her footsteps are coming ...

happy valentines to my bear friend Emma

I am sending a Valentine to my bear friend Emma in Szechuan. I was busy studying my language book so I could chat to Emma, but Lynettea told me it was the wrong book, as they speak Chinese in Szechuan, where Emma lives in the Animals Asia Sanctuary.

So I had to look it up in Google
Happy Valentine's Day
To Emma

and a very happy Valentine's day to all the cats and dogs who visit my web page. Thank you for all your kind wishes and greetings over the years. I am sitting on a piece of my magic carpet. Unfortunately I couldn't get it all into the picture.

MORE new cosies

Because I like the new cat cosy so much, Lynettea went and got me two more for different rooms. One of them is too big and I don't like it. It was the most expensive, of course, being bigger, which just goes to show that bigger is not always better.
I sleep in my cat cosy on the dressing table at night and in my cat cosy on the sofa in the evening. In the day I go to my high up sun loft and lounge under the suntuff. A friend of Lynettea's was visiting today and I heard her say to Lynettea that I was looking like an older cat. As you can imagine I ignored her, but I did feel a little bit hurt. I am only fifteen, which is a good age.

my special gift

Lynettea came home today with a new shopping trolley she bought in the market. And in the trolley was my fresh chicken and a special gift for me. Lynettea said she was worried it would be too small, especially after she saw me jumping around near the gift. I was hungry and sniffing at my chicken.
After I had eaten and had my coat brushed Lynette went off to the kitchen, and I went into the front room to look at my gift.
When Lynettea came back in she was a bit worried because she hadn't heard me miaowing for a long long time.
It just fit me nicely.

Versatile Blogger awardie

Another awardie, this time from Keisha

It is called the Versatile Blogger. Here is some information from Keisha's blog which tellsyou all about it.

"These are the VBA rules:
Thank the person who gave you this award. That’s common courtesy. Include a link to their blog. That’s also common courtesy — if you can figure out how to do it. Next, select 15 blogs/bloggers that you’ve recently discovered or follow regularly. (Nellie says: Pick blogs or bloggers that are excellent!) Nominate those 15 bloggers for the Versatile Blogger Award. Finally, tell the person who nominated you 7 things about yourself."
Now I will have to tell seven things about me me, me, me.

1. I am very modest. I have to be, as others would feel intimidated if I let them know about all my magnificent qualities as soon as they met me.
2. When leaping on visitors I only stick my claws in a little way, so as not to damage them.
3. I am very intellectual and write haiku (is this two things?)
4. I prefer chicken. (breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, supper, midnight feast), so am quite easy to cater for.
5. I am very tolerant: I have learned that this is the best way to get your human to learn. Positive feedback is what I use.
6. I have a distinctive and striking voice. The tone of my voice can range from a soft almost kittenlike miaouw to an authoritative commanding tone (but avoiding stridency).
7. My appearance, as you will have observed, is magnificent, my form subtly beautiful, my muscles agile. Altogether I would be a fit subject for a  classical sculpture.

I will pass the awardie on to the following blogs:
Animal Shelter Volunteer Life

Huffle Mawson

The Island Cats

The Cat's Meow
Lynettea says she is getting worn out trying to help me so I will have to complete the list afterwards. MIAOUWWW!!!!

Some more versatile blogs to receive the awardie:

recipients of the Leibster awardie

The following blogs have been awarded the Liebster awardie. See extra notice in the post second below. I haven't been able to spend the time at the computer to send the award on. Don't worry dear friends, this is not because I am ill. It is due to circumstances beyond my control. (Lynettea) If you have any advice in controlling humans please forward it to me at your earliest convenience. I am going to relax for the rest of the morning in one of my favourite places, high above any human.
“Liebster” means dear, dearest, favorite or beloved in German.  The requirements of receiving the award are to link back to who gave it to you, paste the Award on your blog, then choose 5 of your favorite blogs to pass the award on to that are up-and-coming blogs with less than 200 followers, let them know by leaving a comment on their blog and hope that the 5 blogs chosen will keep on spreading the love by passing the award on to 5 more blogs.
So we are passing this award on to the following:
