Thank you

Thank you everyone for your very kind thoughts and condolences as well as the lovely tribute to Diamond. I am sitting listening to the beach music that Diamond favoured during the last weeks of his life. I am sure I will always think of him when I listen to it.
I will look through my photos and post some more of Diamond in the coming time. Eventually I hope to give a home to another kitty. Diamond always knew how much I needed him to keep me in order and would have advised me to acquire a new cat to take over his job. It will be big shoes for another cat to step into. Of course no-one can ever replace Diamond, who had a unique personality.
Thank you again to all the visiting kitties and their humans. I will attempt to visit all of your blogs and thank you personally, as Diamond would have wanted that. He was always very polite and considerate of others and a very warm personality, a thorough Gentlecat.
I hope he has made me a nicer human being.

we were so shocked and saddened to learn that Diamond crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We are sorry for your loss and our hearts go out to you we do hope there will be a new kitty to keep you in order :) and that we'll meet him/her through the blogosphere. we hope you will treasure the happy memories of Diamond. He was such a sweet and handsome mancat. We are glad to have "met" him. with many purrs,

We're typing this through leaky eyes. We know that Tamir and Diamond will be great friends at the Bridge. Tamir was our gentle giant and we know he will do all he can to make Diamond feel at home until we are all together again.

We too know that another kitty will come our way but that nokitty will ever replace Tamir and nokitty will ever replace Diamond for you.

There is a story, and I don't know where it originated, that we kitties come into a human's life because we have a lesson especially for them. We stay only as long as it takes for the human to learn that lesson - sometimes it is for just a few weeks, but more often it is for many years because humans have never been known for their intelligence. Once that lesson is learned, we take our leave, much as we may be sad to go. But the lesson stays, and remains forever etched in their heart.

Ah, precious Diamond. Your mum has mentioned another cat. You have done your job well. You have brought such extraordinary love and companionship to your mum that she cannot imagine life without one of us. You have shown her that what we offer is beyond compare. When you look down from the bridge, you know that she will always love you as you love her. And when the time is right, you will send her another of us for her to love and to love her in return.
A life well lived, dearest Diamond.

We think Angel-Diamond would love another kitty to take care of you ~ so we are glad you agree. After the joy of sharing a life with Diamond there should be some good that comes after for another kitty. We were both chosen after mom lost her beloved heart cat Henry who live with her for almost 20 years.
Sending you love and purrs.
