Overly Concerned

I feel Dawn is getting overly concerned about the activities of the Food Bearer. He told me that he saw her looking at us through the trellis at the back of the pond yesterday evening. I told him that she had no doubt gone there to refill the bird bath. She knows Dawn likes to stick his head up to see the birds flying down to the garden. I am getting quite worried about his increasing concern with the air world. He is forever sticking his face out of the water and gazing around.
It doesn't seem quite fish-like. It is always wise to be happy with your destiny and we are water creatures.
Maybe the Food Bearer is sad without Diamond and that is why she was staring at Dawn. He still thinks he can learn to communicate with her, but so far she has proved far too unsophisticated to learn our language.

Princess Aurora (Shubunkin) for the Pond Fish.

Sadly, humans are very bad at learning languages. They seem to have enough trouble with their own.

I think the Food Bearer enjoys watching you swimming in your pond, I know I would.

Dawn may be following an urge, transferred to him by his larger relatives , to seek contact with humans. Mum saw the Japanese petting Koi in both Japan and Hawaii. Attempting to communicate with beans, however, has always been a problem. Thick, they are.
We sincerely hope that Dawn, in his fascination with the air world, doesn't accidentally leave the water world. Our hearts would break.
Thank you for your post, lovely girl.

Maybe the foodbearer was staring because she wants to communicate with you Pond Fish.
