Diving down

Our new plants are multiplying across the pond. We are spending a lot of time swimming between the waterlily stems and enjoying one another's company. Lynettea calls out to us when she sprinkles the food. I think she misses us swimming around in the open, but she says she is happy to see us enjoying our waterworld jungle.

I have composed a Moon Haiku and entered it into the Haiku Bandit January moon viewing party. Diamond had a couple of his moon haiku selected for the moon viewing parties and Lynettea thought I might have a try. It is difficult following in Diamond's footsteps and my fins were all a flutter. Eventually, after a long pause for meditation, I thought of something and Lynettea tapped it in for me.

I like your haiku! Although I do agree, it is hard to follow in Diamond's pawsteps.

Your food bearer tries very hard to keep you happy. We're glad to see her efforts have succeeded.
Your haiku is beautiful , dear. The man in the moon, yes, full of memories.
