It is undignified to have your furs ruffled up and be called "the dearest  little  cat  in  the  world" when you are trying to concentrate  on guarding  the  grapevine  from  blackbirds.
'The grapes are shrivelled, Sasha and the day nearly  done.'
As if it wasn't hard enough guarding Lynettea when I take her for walkies.

Humans just don't realise how hard it is to concentrate on keeping them and everything safe.

Humans have no appreciation for the work cats do.
They often think we are "simply cute"

Oh yeah, you are all grown up now, why can't she see that? Gotta tell you though, I'm 11 years old and I still get the silly nicknames sometimes. We grow out of it, but they never do.

Humans have bad timing, don't they? But they DO mean well, we think!

They love us and we're utterly captivating. The beans can't help themselves.

I agree that I am very captivating. Some humans admired me yesterday when I took Lynettea out. I was sitting in my driveway looking at them go past in the street and they turned around and began to shower me with compliments. Of course Lynettea kept the gate shut, so they couldn't get anywhere near me, so I felt quite safe.
