Pits all over the street
Today I went out in the street, for the first time in weeks. It was an alien territory, with orange mesh and dug up paving everywhere. The Gas Board workers dug it up and it hadn't been repaired. Lynettea says she spoke to one of the workers digging around in a pit two days ago and he told her it might be a couple of weeks. It has already been dug up for weeks. The workers from Telstra wrote a letter to Lynettea saying they would start digging more pits on Monday to remove asbestos from cable pits. I felt nervous when I looked at all the changes.
Lynettea said, 'Don't be nervous Sasha. I am here to protect you.' She means well.
