Languages and Cats
Cats from many different countries visit my blog. Lynettea was concerned that when I had cat visitors to my birthday party, they might not be able to understand one another.
I was surprised at this. She has a lot of difficulty understanding me and cannot understand the language of humans from other countries (except for a few).
On the other hand, cats from anywhere can understand one another. You don't find a Chinese kitty unable to communicate with a French kitty, or a kitty from USA being unable to understand a kitty from Russia, or Germany. Humans could learn a lot from us if they wanted to.
These are my top ten countries of all time for visitors (in order of numbers):
We used to see little neko visiting us from Japan, but not as frequently now. Most of the visitors do not show in the program, as you can only see ten countries.
We had 100 kitties from Singapore this month. It was nice to see them. And 28 from Canada, what a contrast: one lot from the steamy tropics and the other probably snowbound. We don't know if it was 100 kitties or fewer kitties who came more often. They are all very welcome and we love to see them.

Lynettea wrote down a list for Diamond of all the countries of the kitties, but she tidied it somewhere and it is lost. There were more than 70 countries and she had to look some of them up on the Internet, as she hadn't heard of them.
The Internet is a wonderful place for us all to join together in peace and harmony.

True, we kitties understand each other so well :)
HUmans should concentrate on their similarities rather than their differences.
