I fell asleep on this important occasion

Because there was so much disruption, getting up early for the termite inspector, then sheltering under the bed, I fell asleep this morning.

'You always rest in the morning, Sasha.'

But it's the afternoon. The voices on the TV are lulling me to sleep. Why do you have it on? We never watch daytime TV. 

'It's the election, Sasha. For President.'

We have a President now? That's news!

'Silly! USA President.'

Oh well. Wake me up when it's over.
