Raining

It was raining yesterday and raining today. Many clouds from the tropics rolled down to the south of Australia and are emptying out over the countryside and the city. This is practically the only rain we have had for two months. Before the rain it was very hot and eventually the house heated through because our air-conditioner couldn't keep it cool anymore.

Because Lynettea has flyscreens on the new windows that she thinks I may rip, she only opens the windows by pulling them in at the top. I preferred the old windows, where I could get a good grip on the wire netting. Why do things have to change when they were good as they were?

Water on my furs!
