Asleep in my velvet house

Here I am in my velvet house. I am not using this house at the moment, after I spent a lot of time in it, day and night for around a week. Lynettea thinks it is because one of her friends patted me in the house and I didn't like that. She has washed the fluffy that I have on the floor of the house and she keeps saying, 'Look Diamond, what a lovely fresh fluffy and I have smoothed it all out for you.' Then she puts her arm in and smooths it all out so I can see.

I watch, but don't go inside. I prefer to sleep under the blanket or under the downdraft from the heater in the loungeroom. And of course during the day I just live on my hot water service. What would I do without that. EveryCat should have his own hot water service to sleep on.

Usually Michico buys me some "house" like that, I won't use it, I don't know why. I just don't like the nest with roof I think. Hehehehe~~~
I can understand what you feel, And this photo of you staying inside is extremely cute!

Diamond your velvet house looks so yummy! I bet it is warm for you to sleep in there in the winter time. I could use it too but it is too hot here right now and I am sleeping in the frying pan right now anyway.
Have a wonderful week dear friend...love Miss Peachy

I am sure in time your velvet house will come back into favor!

You're right, a hot water service is the best place for cats. Under blankets it's perfect too. And after you've spended a week in your velvet house, it will be enough.
We like to change our places too. Sometimes washed blankets are wonderful, but we don't like the smell of detergents. So we refuse to use some of our special places after they are clean. Sometimes it takes serveral days till the awful smell is gone away...

That's a lovely velvet house! I don't blame you for spending a lot of time there. It looks very cozy!

Purrs and snuggles from Marilyn!

We're that way, too. We'll all sleep in one place and just when the beans get used to it, we all change!

They just need to adjust to our changing ways. You'll probably want to go back to the house in your own time.

Sometimes mom moves one of our beds and then we all want to sleep in it.

You know what? I haven't slept in my sheepskin-lined basket since we moved house nearly 9 months ago. And I used to live in that. But what can I say? It just doesn't do it for me anymore.

That's a very nice house! But I do not like houses to sleeps in. I likes houses to jump all over them and plays with!

Don't you hate it when Mom washes all the good smells away? We have tents but don't really play with them too much. We have a HAM-mick and only use that for catnip time. We loces our condo, though!
