I think I am getting a bit nervous

in case I do have to go away. Lynettea keeps looking at her suitcase and looking at the weather forecast. I don't do that much, as it is usually pretty pleasant inside. On cool days I have my special snuggle heating pad to sit on. Lynettea warms it up for me and puts it under my futon.

There is some work going on next door too, which is rather unsettling.

Last night I leapt onto Lynettea's back when she was crouched down cleaning out my litter. She said it was better than a visit to the physiotherapist and kept telling me to tread up and down some more.

So I am getting more skilled day by day.

Lynettea wouldn't really be able to do without me, so I expect she will abandon the idea. I must look for more ways of making myself indispensible.

lynettea told me I might be going on a short holiday to visit my little sister Katinka. Who is that? I don't have a sister Katinka, do I? I have never seen her.
I don't want to go on a holiday. It is holiday time all the time here. Apart from my duties of looking out for Lynettea that is. She needs quite a bit of supervising at times.
I will tell her I don't want to go after all, as I will be needed here to look after her. She will be pleased that I am such an unselfish cat. I wonder if Katinka has a spa.

Spring in my garden

Here I am lounging in my garden. Lynettea has planted some bluebells, as she knows I like to lie on the soft leaves and also that I enjoy the pretty blue colours of the flowers.
I have been looking for a lizard, but there aren't any out at this time of the day.
You can see a few quince blosssoms on my quince tree. This tree was planted to give me some shade when it gets hotter. At the moment the sun is warm and pleasant, although I find that my fur heats through quite quickly.
Delicious warmth. I love it on my fur. This is a sheltered spot away from any unpleasant winds.

lounging on the artificial wolfskin

Lynettea complained that I moved around too much and most of the photos were blurry. Why can't she move a bit quicker is what I want to know. She could make herself a bit more useful instead of complaining so much. At least she doesn't miaouw and leaves that to me. Miaouw, miaouw, miaouw.

I think I do look quite noble on the wolfskin, so maybe I will purr instead. Purr, purr, purr, purr etc.

okay, so the moon and the streetlight look alike. Where are the cats, I might ask? I have humored Lynettea by adding this picture, so I hope you like it better than I do. I don't usually look at streetlights because they glare in my eyes and spoil my night vision.
I have just been doing some modelling poses on my wolfskin, but Lynettea hasn't put the pictures on the computer yet.
She was busy looking at some pictures of flamingoes for me after I admired flamingo pictures on William of Mass Destruction's web site
She didn't think it would be a good idea to pass on my tips on clawing the television screen to William. She said, "William appears to be more of a gentlecat than you Diamond."
Well maybe I will get some flamingo photos too next time or maybe some exquisite modelling pictures of my beauteous self.

I have to do a post

because I am losing all my friends, even if Lynettea says she has a cold and is busy. She doesn't understand my psychology.

I am feeling a lot more like my old self nowadays. Lynettea told me she saw Jai and Wallises mum down the street and that Jai and Wallis are really liking their new home and now stay in their own yard. Why couldn't they do that when they were here, I might ask.

I have to keep a watch for any other kitties that might intrude, but now I can go out into the sunshine and lie in the garden with Lynettea guarding me (of course as usual) without having to be frightened of feral paws darting from every bush and shrub.

There is a black and white cat over the road that has hissed at me a few times, but I don't bother to hiss back, as it is not the kind of thing a well mannered gentlecat does.

I have worked out one new good way of getting attention. By darting in front of the television screen. I get even more attention if I try to claw it. I wonder what would happen if I managed to give it a good scratch. This is one of the ways that I tell Lynettea that it is time to go to bed. Like now!
