FIRST WATERLILY
First of all news of Dawn: he keeps to himself under the slate shelves, and only rarely comes out and swims around . We know there is something wrong and Lynettea is very worried about him. She walked a long way to the specialist Pet Barn to get sinking food for him so he can eat at the bottom of the pond. She thinks we are eating most of it. Sometimes Dawn peers up at her with his face sticking out from his position below the slate shelf, but he isn't swimming up to the surface to talk to her any more.
The rest of us are enjoying the warm weather, splashing in the water from our Dragon Guardian, playing chasies around the pond and admiring our first waterlily for the summer. It is so hot we all stay under the slate or leaf shelters in the middle of the day.
In the bottom photo you can see a little bit of our Christmas present duckweed. We have eaten nearly all of it now.

Do you think he dislikes something about his pond home? Something new to his environment or something changed since the workmen were there?
Maybe you can take away everything new. We know
you've probably tried everything. We just feel so helpless . All of our love to you.
I promise I will let the Koi´s speak for them self next time they do a blogpost on my blog :)
Thank you, Aurora, for letting us know how Dawn is doing. We are purring and praying.
Hugs to all the Pond Fish, and to Lynettea, too.
Happy new year.
Woof, woof,
