tribute plants
Here are some of our recent pictures. Lynettea bought me a special plant as a tribute to the memory of our dear Dawn. Here we all are investigating it. Lynettea says she thinks we like it. Well it is nice to have something different.
When Lynettea's neighbour Deb heard about Dawn's passing to the Rainbow Bridge, she brought in some plants from her beautiful water garden to cheer us up. Here is a picture of some of them. They have crinkly leaves. They float over the pond with their little roots hanging down to tickle our scales.
Our third waterlily for the summer came out and then disappeared again after a couple of days.
There are other plants which loll around under the water too and make water thickets for us. We think it is like living in a jungle. But Lynettea says she has left clearings on the surface and space underneath for us to enjoy our 'enriched environment'. So thanks very much to our caring neighbour Deb.
Lynettea wanted to put in a picture of Diamond's garden, as she thinks he might like to wander in it if he were here. We hope he has plenty of bushes and catnip plants at the Rainbow Bridge and Dawn has made some friends among the fish there.
It was hot a few days ago and we had our umbrella roof up again. The blue makes us think of the Ocean Pond, but we don't think travelling there would agree with us at all. Streak says that there might be sharks. So we will just think of the rolling ocean swell and the long currents that sweep from pole to Equator to pole while we surf in the splashings from our Dragon Guardian.
best wishes to all our friends

Tillie and Georgia has left a new comment on your post "tribute plants":
Aurora, those were lovely plants Lynettea planted in your pond :) Your neighbour was nice to donate some plants too. We are happy you are enjoying your pond even more!!!
The garden looks really nice and we know Diamond would have loved walking there.
We bet he has gardens at the Bridge too, though not as nice at that one :)
